Programmatic Groups

Eight theme-based Programmatic Groups make up ANCRE’score instruments. Theyact as a driving force for discussions with a view to reaching concrete proposals regarding R&D programs. These groups are hinged upon the value chains (raw materials, primary processing, vectors, distribution, storage, impacts) of the following themes:

The programmatic groups pinpoint the scientific and technological barriers and identify the R&D avenues likely to overcome them. They are made up of a leader and a co-leader as well as experts appointed by the founder members, associate members and the competitiveness clusters.

The programmatic groups will provide the following deliverables:
- mapping and segmentation of the fields covered, identification of the R&D stakeholders present in each segment;
- identification of the scientific, technological, industrial, societal, environmental and economic barriers, likely to hinder the rolling-out of “sustainable” energy solutions, the emergence of leading industrial players and the path towards energy independence, and proposals in terms of R&D avenues;
- proposals in terms of programs ranging from fundamental research to demonstrators.

A ninth cross-cutting programmatic group, entitled “Overall energy outlook”, will analyze all the results from the eight theme-based programmatic groups through forecasting reviews, before presenting its findings in a summary report.
